Beloved WWE Champion Teases Long-Awaited Reunion With Brother

This newly-crowned champion made an appearance in AAA Worldwide recently.

WWE’s Spanish sister promotion, AAA Worldwide, hosted its event, Rey de Reyes, recently.

The show kicked off with WWE star Rey Fenix entering the ring and giving the fans a speech.

He then introduced his brother, Penta, who is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion after winning the belt by defeating Dominik Mysterio a couple of weeks ago on Raw.

Penta stated that due to a shoulder injury he suffered in late 2025, the pair weren’t able to reunite at AAA Guerra de Titanes. Following this, they teased a reunion of their tag team, The Lucha Brothers.

The pair teased that it would either happen at Triplemania or when AAA returns to Puebla. Penta also said that he would defend his IC Title on AAA, asking anyone to step up.

After Losing The IC Title To Penta, WWE Star Dominik Mysterio Defends His AAA Mega Championship

Following the IC Title loss to Penta, Dominik Mysterio was seen defending his other belt, the AAA Mega Championship, at Rey de Reyes against El Hijo del Vikingo.

The chaotic No-Disqualification match ended with Mysterio successfully defending the belt.

Now that Penta has begun his reign as Intercontinental Champion, Dirty Dom will be looking to get some revenge on Finn Balor, who Dom feels screwed him over and cost him his IC Title belt.
