Randy Orton’s wife has revealed that the pair had “new, fresh love” in Madison Square Garden soon after he became the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
At the 2013 edition of TLC, Randy Orton defeated longtime rival John Cena to unify the WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
Two weeks later, Orton celebrated Christmas as the champ and his wife, Kim, gave him an intimate present inside the legendary Madison Square Garden. Speaking to Joe Alba and Giovanna Angle on the Wives of Wrestling podcast, she revealed that things didn’t quite go to plan when Paul Wight – then known as the Big Show – walked in on the pair.
“Big Show walked in on us in Madison Square Garden. He told us the room to go in. A security guard walked in on us. That’s when he had both titles. New, fresh love. There’s nothing better.”

Joe Alba pointed out to Kim that WWE only had one show in the famed arena during this period, on that year’s Boxing Day. She responded by joking that they were “showing Christ our love”.
The WWE Madison Square Garden event in question saw Randy Orton in a main event clash with John Cena. While he lost to Cena that night, he did retain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship through disqualification.
The Viper ultimately dropped the title to Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXX and went on to capture the gold twice more, in 2017 and 2020.
On the 20th May edition of SmackDown, the star was written off TV following a vicious attack by The Usos, with it later being reported that he’ll likely miss the remainder of 2022.
