WWE Champion Drew McIntyre Argues Why He’s Not A Heel
Drew McIntyre is a heel. However, he has his reasons to argue why he is not a heel.
The Scottish Warrior set his eyes on the Undisputed WWE Championship and had been after the gold for a while.
Finally, Drew McIntyre dethroned Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown and is having the time of his life as the champion.
Drew McIntyre argues why he is not a heel
Recently, The Scottish Warrior appeared on Busted Open Radio. Mark Henry pointed out that McIntyre is one of the most petty people he has seen and is a true heel. To this, McIntyre claimed that he had other interviews where the same was said, but he questioned why anyone would think he is the bad guy.
He countered that by asking if someone was in his position, whether or not he would do the same thing as he did.
I’ve done a few interviews already, and there’s a couple of people have just said you’re a heel or the bad guy. I stop them and go tell me I’m a bad guy.
Give me one example, and I will debate you. I’ll go back and fort,h and I’ll take it back to what happened, why I feel the way I feel right now, the journey I’ve been on. You only remember what’s happened recently, the PTSD I’ve suffered over the years, and why I think the way I think.
And they’ll go, ‘Oh’. And if you were in my position, you were WWE, you were 6’5″ and 280 lbs. Wouldn’t you do what I do? If you were able to talk the way I talk, rip people apart verbally the way I’m able to do it, wouldn’t you do it? Yes, you would. I win every single debate. Can’t touch me in the ring. I’m too big. Can’t touch me in the mic because I’m too good. Because I don’t lie.
Elsewhere in the interview, Drew McIntyre revealed why he does not want to face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 42.
