WWE is making Europe feel very special heading into 2024 as the company announces Backlash will be heading to France.
WWE has already announced that Bash In Berlin will be held on August 31 2024 in the German capital. That event will fall on the same week that AEW returns to Wembley Stadium in London, England for All In leaving European fans spoiled for major shows.
Now, WWE has announced on social media that Backlash 2024 will be the first-ever premium live event held in France. The show will air live on May 4 2024 from the LDLC Arena in Lyon-Decines which is in the south-east of the country. Given its close proximity to his hometown of Grenoble, the company may well pay tribute to its most famous French star André The Giant on the show.
