Independent Wrestler Sentenced To 15 Years For Sickening Crime

This former independent wrestler committed a heinous crime, and the courts have finally decided on a proper punishment.

Evan Cloyd is a former pro-wrestler and YouTube personality. In the wrestling world, he was known as Jarek 1:20.

The 34-year-old was once a regular in the indies, having competed for CZW, Evolve, and Beyond Wrestling. He briefly appeared on WWE TV in 2016 under the name Chase Silver, eventually getting squashed by Braun Strowman. He was also part of WWE’s reality show Tough Enough. He wrestled his last match in 2019.

Now Cloyd has been found guilty of aggravated sexual assault of a child under 14 in Houston, Texas.

Cloyd was initially arrested for the crime in March 2024. The case was being worked out in the courts for nearly a year before finally arriving at the current outcome. PWInsider.com confirmed the conviction.

No additional details have surfaced in this case yet. WWE or the indie promotions that Cloyd has worked with haven’t made any statements on the matter yet.

Aside from wrestling, Cloyd was a street magician and popular YouTube creator.
