Women’s Money In The Bank Segment Announced For WWE Raw

The women involved in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will get together to have an interesting discussion on Raw.

There will be six women in this year’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match unless WWE decides to add more people to it the way they added Logan Paul to the men’s match to have seven participants.

Trish Stratus was the sixth woman to qualify for Money in the Bank (July 1st in London, England) after Becky Lynch attacked her this past Monday on Raw while Trish was wrestling Raquel Rodriguez. That means that Trish joins her friend Zoey Stark, Bayley, IYO SKY, Zelina Vega, and Lynch in the ladder match.

All of the six women in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match won qualifying matches to be a part of it. To win the match, the winner must climb a ladder and retrieve a briefcase hanging above the ring. With that briefcase, the winner will get a championship match they want against any champion whenever the winner chooses to “cash in” the briefcase for the title match.

During the June 23rd edition of WWE Smackdown, it was announced that the six women in the MITB match will take part in a “Money in the Bank Summit.” That will likely give all of them the opportunity to talk about why they are going to win the match.

Bayley was supposed to face Shotzi on Smackdown to put her MITB spot on the line, but Vince McMahon changed several things on the show. Neither woman appeared on television at all.

In addition to the Women’s Money in the Bank Summit on the June 26th edition of Raw, WWE is also advertising two more non-wrestling segments. They announced that World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins will have an update on his health and Dominik Mysterio will address his issues with Cody Rhodes ahead of their Money in the Bank match.
