Why Triple H May Have Real Problem With The Rock In WWE

Triple H and The Rock are rumored to have backstage heat in WWE.

The Game and The Final Boss have been open about having issues with each other during their early days in the Stamford-based company. However, they later claimed that they had buried the hatchet and moved on.

Nevertheless, rumors have suggested over the past several months that WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and TKO Board Director The Rock are still in a backstage conflict over creative decisions. These speculations were fueled by The Brahma Bull’s absence from WWE TV for over a year.

WWE Veteran Thinks Triple H Isn’t Happy With The Rock’s TKO Earnings

A few weeks ago, it was revealed that The Rock has earned tens of millions of dollars since joining the TKO board of directors.

On The Coach & Bro Show, WWE veterans Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo discussed the subject, claiming that Triple H must have a problem seeing these numbers.

Jonathan Coachman: Vince, they released not only the numbers this week of what they paid The Rock, but also what they agreed to with him two years ago when this whole thing started in January of 2024. So, Vince, this doesn’t include a lot of the different payouts they made him, but just to be on the TKO board.

So, look at the numbers. He started in January 2024. His name Vince was WWE director designee on the TKO board. They gave him his Rock name to sign on. Then he licensed it back to WWE for 10 years, which he gets compensated for. So, look at all of those numbers. And, Vince, no tweets, no social media. It’s crazy to look at this and think there’s not something there.

Vince Russo: I think, Coach, it also adds to our argument because if we were to look at this for Triple H, I don’t think we’re seeing the same thing. So, think about what my point is. Think about Triple H looking at this and you’re gonna tell me Triple H would not have a problem with any of this? That’s what we’re talking about, man. [49:22 onwards]
