Roman Reigns was left in a precarious position following the events during the contract signing segment on Raw.

Reigns walked into the CHI Health Center Omaha arena on Monday, livid after he was attacked by Jacob Fatu last week.

On April 27, both superstars were featured in a main event segment, where Reigns was supposed to answer Fatu’s challenge for Backlash, which he had issued on the WWE Raw episode after WrestleMania 42.

Before the show ended, Fatu applied the Tongan Death Grip on the World Heavyweight Champion, which was made famous by his uncle Haku in the 90s.

After being released from the grip, Roman Reigns accepted Jacob Fatu’s challenge. Their official contract signing was scheduled on Monday, May 4.

Before signing the contract, Reigns reiterated that he was the reason behind Jacob Fatu’s WWE signing and not Solo Sikoa.

Roman also said that as a member of the bloodline, they were all equals, but in the ring, Fatu was beneath him. This comment prompted Fatu to use the Tongan Death Grip again.

This time around, Reigns put up some form of defense, but was ultimately overwhelmed by Fatu, who slammed him onto the table.

Roman Reigns Issues Stern Warning Before WWE Backlash

Roman Reigns was none too impressed by Jacob Fatu’s attack on him for a second consecutive week.

A video shared by WrestleTalk‘s X account shows the OTC addressing the live crowd after the show went off air, promising that things would look different at Backlash, as he was not willing to let go of his spot.

Saturday at Backlash will not look like this, I promise you. I’ve busted my ass for too long, I’ve held my ground in this company for too long, and I ain’t letting it go just yet!
