Veteran WWE Star Name Changed Officially

WWE logo over Natalya Naomi

The name change for one WWE veteran is now officially complete.

Natalya has been a part of WWE for the best part of two decades, but perhaps the latest twist in her career could be the best one yet.

After betraying her partner, Maxxine Dupri, costing her the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, the Lowkey Legend took her place in the Royal Rumble with a whole new attitude, and she headed straight for Dupri to continue the punishment. Nattie might also have a case to make for getting a shot at the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title after she eliminated the current champion, Becky Lynch.

The veteran star took to social media to confirm that the old Natalya is now dead and she has been reborn in WWE as Nattie.

WWE Changes Natalya’s Name

WWE has now confirmed the change of name for the star on its website, with her moniker now simply listed as “Nattie.”

The February 9th edition of Raw saw Nattie take on Maxxine Dupri in one-on-one action. The bout ended abruptly in a double count-out with Nattie locking in a Sharpshooter on her opponent on the announce desk. She only broke the hold when AJ Lee came to Dupri’s assistance. Lee was then attacked from behind by Becky Lynch.

A tag team match could be in the works between the four women as the road to WrestleMania 42 heats up.
