A new report has shed further lights on the comments made by Kenny Omega when the AEW roster was brought together for a talent meeting recently.

Ahead of All Out, the recently returned former AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was one of those who addressed the assembled roster at the mandatory meeting. As an Executive Vice President of the company, it has since emerged that he had plenty to say.

According to previous reports, ‘The Best Bout Machine’ claimed that he wouldn’t have hired eight out of ten members of the roster, however it was also noted that this may have been in jest and aimed at his long-term rival Will Ospreay. A new report puts a different slant on this.

A new report from Cultaholic has suggested that Kenny Omega went on to say that Will Ospreay could wrestle rings around many members of the roster, whilst he isn’t even signed by the company. The report continued by suggesting that the source they spoke to interpreted Omega’s remarks as an expression of unhappiness at the direction the company has recently taken.

The comments from the former AEW World Champion have been overshadowed in the aftermath of All Out, where the media scrum after the event and backstage brawl which followed led to many members of the roster including Kenny Omega being suspended. The bite mark Omega reportedly received during the brawl was visible during a recent appearance.
