Unlikely WWE Star Wants John Cena Match
Whilst John Cena is already signed for action at the Superstar Spectacle, one WWE star has made it clear he’d be ready if the opportunity for a match with the legend arose.
The last time Cena appeared on WWE television was at Money In the Bank, when he hit the ring to surprise the London crowd. Prior to that, his last match was against Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39, where Theory managed to keep hold of the gold.
However, it has now been confirmed that not only will Cena be lacing up the boots again at the Superstar Spectacle taking place on Friday 8th September in India, but he’s also set to be making appearances on Friday Night SmackDown through until the end of October.
Although it hasn’t been confirmed how many matches he’ll have in that period, it’s no surprise that various WWE superstars are lining up for the chance to step up to the challenge of facing the former World Champion.
Top Dolla Throws Hat In The Ring
In a simple post on social media, Top Dolla has made it clear that he feels he would be a perfect opponent if the opportunity to take on John Cena arose.

Top Dolla’s WWE career hasn’t been the smoothest of sailing to this point. Having joined the company in 2020, he rose to popularity with Hit Row, however the stable was released by WWE during the pandemic. He would return to the company in 2022 and the group has been fully brought back together on the blue brand as part of the 2023 Draft.
It has not been confirmed what Cena will be doing when he makes his return this coming Friday, however it would be expected that he will be promoting his appearance at the Superstar Spectacle the following week.
