Unfortunate Update On Chelsea Green’s Recent Injury
Chelsea Green was recently pulled from an AAA title defense match owing to an injury.
On the February 6 episode of SmackDown, Green competed in a 3-way match against Lash Legend and Tiffany Stratton, which the latter ended up winning.
While Green put on a good show, at some point during the fight, she sustained an injury to her leg.
Ahead of her AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship title defense with Ethan Page against Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana, she was shown on a video call with Page, where she revealed her injury status.
The 33-year-old star later took to X, sharing pictures of her bruised leg and one with her leg in an orthopedic boot.
Chelsea Green also posted a dramatic update on Instagram, titled “ANKLE BREAKS; SPIRIT PREVAILS…NATION WATCHED IN HORROR AS RESILIENT PRESIDENT FINISHED WRESTLING MATCH ON LIVE TV.”
The post also contains an X-ray of her ankle, which confirms that it is indeed broken.

Chelsea Green’s Injury Worse Than Initially Reported
An earlier report by Wrestling Observer claimed that Chelsea Green’s injury was minor and that there was no long-term layoff expected.
However, as Green continues to play off her injury, a fracture only confirms that she will miss TV appearances for the foreseeable future. As of this moment, there is no clear update on the timeline for her in-ring return.
On Friday, the former Women’s United States Champion had accused the WWE management of negligence, setting a list of demands, including a wheelchair with a back warmer and a tuxedoed assistant.
Everyone at TJR Wrestling wishes Chelsea Green a speedy recovery.
