Two More Women Qualify For WWE Elimination Chamber Match

Five women have officially qualified for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match following two big matches on WWE SmackDown.

The Elimination Chamber PLE is a unique event because it features the Men’s and Women’s Elimination Chamber matches.

Both Chamber matches this year have huge stakes because the Men’s winner gets to challenge Seth “Freakin” Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, the Women’s winner will face the Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, just as long as she survives her match against Nia Jax at the Elimination Chamber PLE on February 24th.

Three former Women’s Champions were the first ones to qualify for the Women’s Chamber match with Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair & Liv Morgan all winning matches to gain entry into this year’s Chamber.

In the first Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying match on WWE Smackdown in Salt Lake City, it was “Tiffy Time” as SD newcomer Tiffany Stratton beat Zelina Vega in a competitive match. Vega was a bit distracted by Legado Del Fantasma’s Elektra Lopez and Stratton capitalized by hitting the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to win.

The second qualifying match saw former Women’s Champion Naomi pick up the win over Alba Fyre, who had some help from Isla Dawn, who was constantly interfering in the match. Naomi won with a submission where she trapped Fyre’s arms and Fyre tapped out.

That means the five women in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match are Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Tiffany Stratton and Naomi. They will be joined by one other entrant.

How Will WWE Determine The Final Entrant In Women’s Elimination Chamber Match?

For the sixth and final spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber, WWE announced this past Monday on Raw that there will be a “Last Chance Battle Royal” to determine the final entrant in the match. The full field of women involved in the match hasn’t been announced, but it’s likely it will feature Raw & Smackdown superstars.

The next WWE PLE is Elimination Chamber on February 24th from Perth, Australia with this lineup:

* Men’s Elimination Chamber Match: Drew McIntyre vs. Randy Orton vs. Bobby Lashley vs. LA Knight vs. Kevin Owens vs. Logan Paul

* Women’s World Championship: Rhea Ripley (c) vs. Nia Jax

* Women’s Elimination Chamber Match: Becky Lynch vs. Bianca Belair vs. Liv Morgan vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Naomi vs. one more opponent.

* Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships: The Judgment Day – Damian Priest & Finn Balor vs. Pete Dunne & Tyler Bate

* Grayson Waller Effect with Cody Rhodes & Seth “Freakin” Rollins

Elimination Chamber takes place at Optus Stadium in Perth, Western Australia, at 5 AM ET/2 AM PT streaming LIVE on Peacock in the United States and WWE Network everywhere else.
