“Growing Power Struggle” Among Top WWE Stars Under Triple H – Reports

A new report hinted at a growing power struggle among top stars in WWE under the creative regime of Triple H.

Back in 2022, Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative and Chief Content Officer (CCO) of the company. He was highly praised by the fans for the first few years of his regime. However, The Game has also received a fair share of criticism for some of his creative decisions over the past year.

Throughout Triple H’s creative regime, the likes of Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Gunther, and more have been the top stars and are constantly in the world title picture. Recently, The Cerebral Assassin made the decision to crown Sami Zayn as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Meanwhile, a new report hinted at a power struggle in the locker room.

According to WRKD Wrestling, there is a “growing power struggle” among the main event talents in the WWE to maintain their top spot in the company. The names of the top stars have not been revealed in the report.

Triple H could be fired from WWE despite his contract renewal, according to veteran

Over two months ago, Triple H signed a contract extension with WWE and will continue as the CCO and creative head of the company. The wrestling veteran, Vince Russo claimed that The Game could still get fired, as there is so much heat on him:

There has been so much heat coming down on Triple H from everywhere. Not just Vince Russo and Coach, evewhere, and this is a time where Nick Khan had to do something. This is giving the manager that vite of confidence, but don’t think for a second that at the end of the season, that manager won’t be let go. This happens in sports, we see this at least once a year in sports.”

Former WWE name, Jonathan Coachman also added that there is no guarantee that Triple H couldn’t be let go:

The contracts that TKO has now made people sign, including Triple H, other than getting paid for the work that they’ve done, there is no guarantee. And you guys need to understand this. This is brilliant by Nick Khan and TKO, brilliant, so this is, ‘oh, wait a second we’re happy, we’re ecstatic with what Triple H and the creative team has done.’ Are you really?”

Only time will tell what the future holds for Paul Levesque as the WWE CCO.
