Truth Behind WWE Scrapping Roman Reigns Segment On Raw 30

Roman Reigns

A new report has indicated the real reason a huge segment featuring Roman Reigns was replaced on Raw XXX, killing a major rumour about the show.

The 30th anniversary of Raw will celebrate three decades of WWE’s flagship show with legends such as Ric Flair, The Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels among the many more that will be in attendance.

An “acknowledgement ceremony” had been set for the show with “every generation” of The Bloodline said to be coming to pay tribute to The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns. That set tongues wagging as among WWE Hall of Famers Afa, Sika, and Rikishi being at the show, many also believed that another member of the Anoa’i wrestling dynasty would also be in attendance – The Rock.

However, WWE has now replaced the segment for the show with The Trial of Sami Zayn as Roman Reigns is still unsure of the Honorary Uce’s real intentions despite seemingly cementing his place in the group at Survivor Series WarGames.

With many believing that the original segment was scrapped due to The Rock’s involvement – or lack of it – the Wrestling Observer has reported that The People’s Champ was never booked to appear as part of the segment.

The real reason the change was made is that Afa, Sika, and Rikishi were all unable to attend the show. Afa and Sika were said to be “not ready for the trip” while Rikishi has been battling illness during the week. It is also noted that what happened on SmackDown with The Bloodline was set up for the Trial segment instead and was not part of the group’s original plans for that show.
