Triple H Allegedly Planning To Turn WWE’s Biggest Babyface Heel

According to a veteran, Triple H is planning to turn Cody Rhodes heel.

The American Nightmare has been one of the biggest babyfaces in the company for the past few years, fighting off against the top heels.

A few days ago, legend Mark Henry, on the Busted Open podcast, stated that Cody Rhodes has established himself as a tweener. He made the statement based on how the SmackDown crowd reacted to his promo on the January 16 episode of Friday Night SmackDown. The crowd at the OVO Arena Wembley was booing him even though he’s a babyface.

Now, Vince Russo believes Cody Rhodes is on his way to fully turning into a heel. Speaking on the Coach and Bro Show, Russo predicted that Triple H will turn Rhodes into a heel soon because Rhodes’ run as a babyface has “run its course.” If that happens, Russo believes Fatu will become a babyface.

Here’s what they’re going to do. And it’s kind of smart. They know Fatu is getting over with the crowd. They know Cody has run its course, so they’re going to turn Cody Heel. That’s fine. You could turn Cody Heel. You could turn Fatu into a huge baby face. (From 48:46)

Russo also commented on Fatu’s situation in the company, saying that Triple H is wasting his potential by not giving him a meaningful storyline.

Fatu made his return to action on WWE SmackDown a few weeks ago and cost Cody Rhodes the WWE Undisputed Championship in a match against Drew McIntyre.
