This popular WWE Star won the hearts of many during his legendary run in the company.

Few wrestlers have decorated careers in two different promotions.

One such example is WWE legend Booker T, who was in WCW (WWE’s rival promotion in the 1990s) and was a five-time WCW champion there, something he famously uses as a catchphrase.

His “Spinaroonie” move was popular among a generation of teenagers and adults, and he famously feuded with current WWE CCO Triple H during WWE’s Ruthless Aggression Era in the 2000s.

He has assumed many personas during his career; his normal character was a charismatic one with street cred, and he also played a royal character, King Booker, who was a heel.

Booker T has made his mark as a color commentator as well, which is his current role on NXT.

Triple H And WWE Celebrate Booker T’s Illustrious Career In His Hometown

NXT’s latest episode harkens from Houston, Texas, which is Booker T’s hometown, and Triple H and Co. are celebrating his legendary career.

The Game took to X to add a post saying that although Booker’s in-ring career has come to an end, he continues to be a mentor for the young wrestlers backstage and a talent in front of the camera.

In the clip, NXT stars such as Ethan Page, Joe Hendry, and Shawn Michaels, among others, can be seen paying tribute to the Hall of Famer using his catchphrases, and some wrestlers can be seen trying out his famous Spinaroonie.
