Triple H Reveals New WWE Title Belt On SmackDown

Triple H WWE

Triple H has been at the beltmakers once again as just days after a brand new WWE World Heavyweight Champion was crowned at Night of Champions, a new WWE Universal Title belt has been unveiled on SmackDown.

Back on the 30th of August 2020, few could have foreseen the run Roman Reigns was about to embark on when he captured the Universal Championship from The Fiend Bray Wyatt but The Tribal Chief had other ideas.

Since then Roman Reigns has defended his championship 28 times – an average of every 35 days – defeating the likes of Braun Strowman, Kevin Owens, Daniel Bryan, Edge, Cesaro, Rey Mysterio, John Cena, Finn Balor, Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Matt Riddle, Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and of course, Jey Uso on his way to writing his name into the record books.

Now with a title reign of over 1,000 days that puts him among the pantheon of great WWE Champions such as Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, and Hulk Hogan, Triple H has bestowed a new title belt upon The Tribal Chief.

While it was all smiles for Roman Reigns when he received his new title from Triple H, things quickly turned sour as The Bloodline looks to be well and truly done in WWE.
