Triple H Leaves Door Open For Ex-WWE Star’s Return

A former WWE personality revealed that the company’s CCO, Triple H has left the door open for her return. The star in discussion is Kayla Braxton.

After Triple H took over as the head of WWE creative back in 2022, he brought back multiple names to the company who were released during Vince McMahon’s regime. He also brought back stars who were in AEW. Meanwhile, Kayla Braxton could also be brought back to the company by The Cerebral Assassin, it seems.

Kayla Braxton had joined the WWE back in 2016 and served as a backstage interviewer and TV host for several years. However, Kayla left her full-time role in the company in 2024 to explore other opportunities outside of the pro wrestling world. Meanwhile, Braxton revealed her conversation with Triple H when she was leaving the Stamford-based promotion.

Triple H left the door open for the return of the former WWE star

Speaking with TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring recently, Kayla Braxton disclosed that Triple H had told her that the door for her return to the WWE is always open when she was leaving the company in 2024:

Well, when I left, Triple H had said that to me. He said, the door is always open here, which is such a nice thing to hear from your boy boss when you’re the one walking away.”

Kayla Braxton further admitted that she doesn’t see herself going back to the WWE in the same capacity, as she wanted to create her own brand when she left:

I don’t think I ever see myself going back in the same capacity, but when I left I just hoped, like, I can go away, kind of create my own brand for myself, you know, it takes time because I don’t want to always be WWE’s Kayla Braxton because I had so much more I wanted to do.”

Kayla Braxton concluded by joking that she could take Paul Levesque’s (Triple H) job for a month and teased rejoining WWE as the General Manager:

Maybe I come one day and I take Paul’s job for like a month. And I’m now the GM or the manager for whoever he’s managing at the time. Who knows? But we’ll see,” said Braxton. [h/t Ringside News]

Fans will have to wait and see if Kayla Braxton will ever return to the WWE as a backstage interviewer or in a brand new role.
