Triple H Continues To Bury WWE Star Who Had Heat With Him On SmackDown

Ever since former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon stepped away from the promotion, Paul “Triple H” Levesque has taken control of the promotion’s creative duties.

Triple H has been serving as the Chief Content Officer for WWE since the middle of 2022 and is directly responsible for whatever goes on the main roster shows.

He has brought back several former superstars to the promotion during his tenure, including fan favorite wrestler Matt Cardona. During his first run with the promotion, he went by the moniker Zack Ryder and is said to have had some heat with Triple H.

Matt Cardona suffered a major loss on WWE SmackDown tonight

Cardona, during his first run with the promotion, got over with the fans due to his “Internet Champion” gimmick, which apparently didn’t go down well with the Cerebral Assassin.

It seems like that heat has continued during his second tenure as well as Cardona hasn’t had a successful return to WWE till now. Ever since debuting in January, Cardona has only won one match on the roster.

He emerged victorious in his debut match since returning and has since then failed to move every other match. Tonight, he was scheduled to take on Sami Zayn on WWE SmackDown and ended up losing to the Underdog from the Underground.
