The AEW Trios Tag Team Titles will be defended at AEW Revolution when The Elite put their championships on the line against a very tough opponent.

On the February 24th edition of AEW Rampage, The Young Bucks duo of Matt & Nick Jackson faced Aussie Open in the opening match. It was a competitive matchup that went back and forth with The Young Bucks finding a way to win while their friend Kenny Omega looked on.

After the match was over, The Elite trio of Omega and The Young Bucks celebrated the win when the lights went out. When the lights came back on, the House of Black trio of Malakai Black, Brody King & Buddy Matthews had a staredown with the champions. Moments later, the lights came back and House of Black came back on.

Even though there wasn’t a match to earn the title match, AEW has simply announced that House of Black will challenge The Elite for the AEW Trios Tag Team Titles at Revolution on Sunday, March 5th.

Now that the match is official, The Young Bucks tweeted about the match.

Considering The Elite and House of Black are two of the best trios teams in AEW, it should be an incredible match.

The updated lineup for AEW Revolution on Sunday, March 5th looks like this.
