Trick Williams Reveals Real Reason Why He’s Dating WWE Star

Trick Williams is one of those WWE superstars who found love in their workplace.

Williams has been in a relationship with SmackDown’s Lash Legend, and they got engaged late last year. Both wrestlers were part of the developmental brand NXT when they became a couple.

Legend returned to the blue brand during the November 7 taping, where she attacked Alexa Bliss. She has since been a part of the brand’s roster and the tag team partner of Nia Jax.

Trick Williams, meanwhile, spent a couple of weeks as a free agent, making appearances on both Raw and SmackDown. On January 2, 2026, he officially joined SmackDown.

During a recent interview with ESPN’s First Take, the 31-year-old revealed why he began courting Lash Legend.

I’m with her cause she’s fine. She treat me good. And I know that NIL deals, you know, 20 years from now gonna be off the chain.

Trick Williams’ popularity has surged fast since debuting on the main roster. While he is primarily a heel figure, he is extremely popular with the audience, who like to chant his name during his entrance.

When he’s not wrestling but is featured in backstage segments or promos, he often dresses in all-white and wears his signature shoes, which he likes to call the “Lemon Pepper Steppers.”

He recently made an appearance on WAVE News, where he revealed his new moniker. Williams is now called “The Anointed One.”

I keep it pretty simple. All white. Because I’m The Anointed One. I’m anointed to do what I do, so we keep it all white.

Trick Williams recently won an Elimination Chamber qualifying match defeating Carmelo Hayes and Damian Priest in a 3-way match.

His opponents in the chamber include Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, LA Knight, Je’Von Evans, and Jey Uso.
