The legendary 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan passed away tragically on July 24, 2025, at the age of 71 due to cardiac arrest.

Even though Hulk Hogan was still trying to lead an active life in his final days and weeks, he had undergone numerous surgeries in recent years, and they obviously took a toll on his body.

Fans of The Hulkster will be able to hear his thoughts on many aspects of his life because Netflix will be airing a new documentary called “Hulk Hogan: Real American,” which premieres on Wednesday, April 22nd. That is just three days after WrestleMania 42 on Sunday. It’s a 4-part documentary.

In the documentary, Hulk Hogan is shown talking to the camera, acknowledging that some people hate him, but he also questions who he truly is.

“Some people hate me, but I think people are going to know the truth—who was this guy, really?”

The video showed Hulk Hogan dealing with physical ailments in the last few years of his life. There were also highlights of his wrestling prime and life with his family.

They also teased coverage of his controversial life, and Hogan claimed he would tell the truth.

Hulk Hogan Will Be Honored At WWE Hall Of Fame Again

The WWE Hall of Fame has already inducted Hulk Hogan twice, first as a solo act, and then as a member of the New World Order stable.

At the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas, WWE will honor Hulk Hogan for a third time by inducting his WrestleMania 3 match with Andre the Giant as an Immortal Moment.

The legendary WrestleMania III clash between WWE Hall of Famers Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant will be recognized as the WWE Immortal Moment Award during the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony in Las Vegas.

Joining last year’s inaugural moment, Bret Hart and “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s bout from WrestleMania 13, the award honors the iconic moment from WrestleMania III where The Hulkster slammed The 8th Wonder of the World in front of nearly 100,000 people inside the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan.

With WWE Hall of Famers Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse “The Body” Ventura calling the action at ringside and Bob Uecker serving as the special guest ring announcer, the match saw Hogan retain the WWE Championship against Andre in an unforgettable clash, setting the standard for WrestleMania main events in the three decades that followed.

Hogan and Andre’s Immortal Moment joins the rest of the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2026, headlined by Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition, Dennis Rodman, as well as Legacy inductees Sid and Bad News Brown.

The 2026 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony will air live immediately following SmackDown on April 17.
