Top WWE Babyface Shockingly Accuses Cody Rhodes Of Betrayal On SmackDown

WWE SmackDown was off to an intense start tonight as Cody Rhodes opened the show following his win on last week’s episode of the show. He qualified for the Elimination Chamber following his win last week.

Rhodes faced Sami Zayn and Jacob Fatu during their triple threat qualification match in the main event last week and pinned Zayn to get the win following an interference from Drew McIntyre.

McIntyre took Fatu out of the match and attacked Rhodes to hand Sami the win. However, Rhodes kicked out, and when McIntyre returned to the ring, Sami hit him with the Helluva kick to save Cody.

Sami Zayn had some strong words on WWE SmackDown

Rhodes took advantage of the situation and caught Zayn by surprise, and hit him with the CrossRhodes to get the win. The win left Sami frustrated as he failed in another attempt to get his hands on the WWE Championship.

The two friends met backstage on tonight’s episode, where an upset Sami Zayn accused Rhodes of betraying him. Zayn stated that he took out Drew after he saw him attacking Rhodes, but the American Nightmare hit him with his finisher to punch his ticket to Elimination Chamber.
