Drew McIntyre Sparks Chaos On WWE SmackDown As Elimination Chamber Spot Is Decided
The final match on WWE SmackDown tonight saw three men compete for a spot in the Men’s Elimination Chamber match as the final event before WrestleMania 42 is now just two weeks away.
Two of the six spots in the match have already been filled over the last two WWE shows. Randy Orton became the first male superstar to qualify for the match on SmackDown last week.
He was then joined by LA Knight, who won his qualifying match this past week on Monday Night RAW. Tonight, Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and Jacob Fatu wrestled in the main event to join the two stars.
Cody Rhodes punches his ticket to WWE Elimination Chamber
All three wrestlers were desperate to win the match tonight as they looked to make it to the Elimination Chamber. All of them want to get their hands on Drew McIntyre, and it was evident in their match.
A hard-hitting affair saw them exchange momentum at different stages in the match as they pushed each other to their limits. Cody, Sami, and Fatu gave it their all to win the match tonight, and Jacob seemed to be heading into the Elimination Chamber match.

Sami was hit by a Cody Cutter before Jacob hit him with a Moonsault of his own to wrap up the win. However, he was hit with a Claymore kick by McIntyre, who took him out of the match.
He attacked Jacob and put him through the announce table to cost him the match before taking out Cody and putting Sami’s arm over Rhodes, but he kicked out just in time. McIntyre went back to cost Cody, but instead he was met by a Helluva Kick from Zayn, following which Rhodes hit him with the Cross Rhodes for the win.
