Tony Schiavone Comments On AEW All In – “I Hope We Deliver”

Tony Schiavone

Tony Schiavone has discussed the pressure on AEW at All In.

AEW All In looks on course to become the biggest ticket-selling wrestling show in history when the company invades Wembley Stadium in London, England on August 27th.

MJF and Adam Cole will headline the show with the AEW World Title on the line but the two stars will be pulling double duty as they kick the night off on the Zero Hour pre-show where they will challenge Aussie Open for the ROH Tag Team Championship.

Tony Schiavone says there’s “a lot of pressure on” AEW

Speaking on his What Happened When podcast, Tony Schiavone spoke about the pressure of running such a big show and he hopes the stars on offer deliver:

“This will be the top. Of course, I was at WrestleMania 6, at the SkyDome with a big crowd and I’ve seen big crowds before but nothing on this scope. I think it has a lot to say about Great Britain and England really wanting to see AEW. Our product being over there on ITV has a very big exposure and that has a lot to do with it.

“I just hope that – every time you do something like this, even when we do these pay-per-views and even the first Grand Slam at Arthur Ashe Stadium, my first thought is I hope we deliver to the fans to make them want to see us again. That’s my concern.

“I think there’s a lot of pressure on the company, to be honest with you, to deliver. Not because of anything but 80,000 fans, you’ve really got to step up and deliver. I think we will, I think we’ve got some great matches and matches that are yet to be announced.

“FTR and Young Bucks against each other could steal the show. All the stars will be there, Sting’s gonna be a part of it, Saraya’s gonna be there, MJF and Adam Cole, a four-way for the women’s title, so the stars are gonna be there and you just wanna make sure those 80,000 fans go home happy. Which is really a concern for every show we do.”
