The AEW World Champion MJF has been ranked as the best wrestler in the world under the age of 30 years old.

For the past 258 days, Maxwell Jacob Friedman (aka MJF) has been the AEW World Champion. At 27 years old, MJF is also the youngest AEW World Champion in the company’s four-year history.

When AEW launched in 2019, MJF immediately stood out as a star with a bright future and at that point, he was only 23 years old. Since then, his ascension has continued, which led to his AEW World Title win over Jon Moxley at Full Gear last November. As AEW World Champion, MJF has beaten wrestlers like Bryan Danielson, Ricky Starks and Hiroshi Tanahashi to keep his title.

There’s a new feature from ESPN where they have ranked the top 30 wrestlers that are under the age of 30. In their list, MJF is at the very top as the best wrestler alive under the age of 30.

Others in the top five include current WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, the WWE US Champion Austin Theory, AAA Mega Champion El Hijo del Vikingo, who has had many matches on AEW TV as well and there’s also the WWE NXT North American Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio as well.

Rounding out the top ten are former WWE NXT Champion Bron Breakker, the current NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, AEW’s rising star Konosuke Takeshita, former WWE Women’s Champion Liv Morgan and WWE’s Logan Paul, who has impressed a lot of people even though he’s had less than five singles matches in his career.

MJF Will Defend AEW World Title At All In

The AEW World Title will be on the line at AEW All In taking place at Wembley Stadium. It was announced this past Wednesday on Dynamite that MJF will defend the AEW World Title against his good friend Adam Cole. MJF is the one that made the match and they celebrated by hugging eachother.

As for who wins that match, some people believe MJF’s title reign could be in danger while we all know Friedman will do whatever it takes to keep his title in his hands.
