Over the last week or two, AEW has experienced severe turmoil in and out of the squared circle.

While the company’s president, Tony Khan, is often open to talking about various topics, he is refusing to answer any questions related to Toni Storm’s current status and AEW’s 2023 bid to buy WWE.

Khan’s preconditions were highlighted in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by veteran journalist Dave Meltzer.

I was told outright before even asking about the subject that the two subjects Tony Khan will not talk about are Toni Storm and the story about his company putting in a bid to purchase WWE in 2023.

Meltzer went on to reveal that Toni Storm recently participated in an autograph signing segment, where she did not sell her injury despite having been viciously taken out by a mystery individual backstage on Dynamite a couple of weeks ago.

Tony Khan Receives Podcast Invite From Ex-WWE Employee

Podcasts are a way today for wrestling promoters to spread the word about their bookings as well as provide business updates.

To his credit, Tony Khan uses his social media platforms to his advantage, keeping fans in the loop about the developments in AEW.

Khan recently received a podcast invite from former WWE name Jonathan Coachman. Responding to a tweet, ‘Coach’ tagged the AEW boss, extending him the opportunity to be a part of his The Coach & Bro podcast.

In response, Khan stated that he would love it while also praising co-host Vince Russo’s work with Juggalo Championship Wrestling.

Russo also called it an honor while asking for confirmation about when they could schedule it.
