Tony Khan Will Make “Important Announcement” On AEW Dynamite

Tony Khan is no stranger to a big announcement and now it has been revealed that he will be making another on the forthcoming edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW Rampage in Laredo, Texas, was a big night for Keith Lee who made his return to the company after previously being taken out by his former tag team partner Swerve Strickland and his Mogul Affiliates. Strickland took on Dustin Rhodes in a bout that ended in a rare disqualification when Parker Boudreaux intervened.

As the Affiliates laid waste to Rhodes, Keith Lee returned, getting a measure of revenge and sending the villains running from the ring.

It was a good night for some of AEW’s champions as The Elite successfully defended their Trios Championship against Top Flight and AR Fox while Jade Cargill added to her incredible winning record by defeating Vertvixen.

Ricky Starks might feel he’s one step closer to a rematch with Chris Jericho after he defeated Daniel Garcia in singles action.

Excalibur noted on commentary that on the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite to be held in Phoenix, Arizona Tony Khan will be making an “important announcement.” What the announcement could be remains to be seen although Khan recently noted that a possible second Forbidden Door show with New Japan Pro Wrestling could well happen.
