Interim AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm has discussed why she thinks having Saraya in AEW brings a “whole different element” to the company.

Saraya shocked the wrestling world when she made her debut for AEW at Dynamite Grand Slam in New York City. The former Paige in WWE has not competed since suffering a serious neck injury at the end of 2017 but rumours persist that she might be getting in the ring again.

Speaking in an interview with Bleacher Report, Toni Storm discussed what she thinks Saraya brings to the table in AEW:

“{Working with Saraya] Is pretty cool as someone who’s looked up to her, kind of tried to follow in her footsteps. But it’s really cool for me to be able to get the best seat in the house to see her come back to wrestling and all the crowd reactions and stuff.”

“I think she brings a whole different element to AEW. I think she’s exciting. And it’s going to bring in more and more viewers. I love having her around. I think she’s gonna really help us out.”

Toni Storm has her work cut out for her in Cinncinati for Dynamite on the 18th of October as the show goes head-to-head again with NXT. Storm will defend her Interim AEW Women’s World Title against Hikaru Shida on a show that will also see the AEW World Championship and ROH World Title defended.

Scheduled to compete at AEW All In, Toni Storm is not excited to return to England.
