Tiffany Stratton’s WWE SmackDown Open Challenge Ends In Absolute Chaos

WWE SmackDown featured an exciting title match tonight, kicking off the in-ring action after an explosive opening segment involving the WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley.

After it was confirmed that Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley would team up to take on any two members of Fatal Influence, the WWE Universe was treated to a United States Open Challenge once again.

This time, however, it was Tiffany Stratton who was putting her Women’s United States Championship on the line against an unknown opponent, later revealed to be a former champion in the company.

Tiffany Stratton’s open challenge was answered by former Women’s Tag Team Champion, Lash Legend, who came out to the ring along with her tag team partner, Nia Jax.

Legend had Jax by her side throughout the match, and she helped Lash gain an advantage at certain points in the match. Seeing the odds being stacked against Tiffy, Chelsea Green came out to the US Champion’s aid.

She remained in Tiffany’s corner for the rest of the match and even played a part at the end. Legend had been dominating Stratton for much of the match and seemed like she would be heading out as the champion.

As Nia Jax tried to help Lash win the title, Chelsea Green pushed Jax into the ringpost and took her out of the equation. This led to Lash attacking Green, but it allowed Tiffy to take advantage and pin her challenger to retain the belt.
