The Young Bucks have a new theme song in AEW and it’s inspired by a popular television show.
Ever since their return to AEW television to start 2024, The Young Bucks have taken on a new persona. They have gone back to being a heel tag team that likes to remind everybody that they are Executive Vice Presidents in AEW and they use that power to assert their authority whenever they need it.
In addition to that, the brothers have insisted that they be called Matthew and Nicholas Jackson rather than their usual names of Matt & Nick Jackson.
On AEW Rampage, which was taped after Dynamite, The Young Bucks brothers debuted a new theme song.
The song is an instrumental song that is called “You Leave Us No Choice.” According to Fightful Select, the Bucks new song was inspired by the hit HBO show Succession about the Roy Family. The show was very popular, won many awards and had an instrumental theme song that fans of the show will likely always remember.
It was added by Fightful that WWE’s theme song for Roman Reigns was also inspired by Succession as well. Succession aired 39 episodes on HBO from June 2018 until May 2023. Several actors from the show won Emmy Awards while many others associated with the show won Emmy Awards as well.
During their appearance on Rampage, The Young Bucks easily won a match over the tag team of Mondo Rox & Robbie Lit.
The Young Bucks Ruin Sting & Darby Allin’s Moment On AEW Dynamite
This past Wednesday, February 7th on AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks made their presence felt after the main event that saw Sting & Darby Allin win the AEW Tag Team Titles from Big Bill & Ricky Starks in an entertaining Tornado Tag Match.
During the celebration, The Young Bucks appeared in white suits and used white baseball bats to attack Sting, Allin and Sting’s two adult sons as well. Allin was a bloody mess due to the attack, so his blood was all over the Bucks’ suits. Those same suits were worn by the Bucks on Rampage as well.
It is expected that The Young Bucks will challenge Sting & Allin for the AEW Tag Team Titles at the Revolution PPV on March 3rd, which is being billed as the show where Sting will have his last match. It is believed that Sting got to pick his opponents in his final match.
