The Usos React To Being Ranked #1 In PWI Top 100 Tag Teams

The Usos

After being ranked the top tag team in the world by Pro Wrestling Illustrated, The Usos have given their take on the accolade.

Having been ranked fourth as part of the 2021 awards, The Usos reached the top spot whilst spending the majority of this year as the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions. They pipped FTR to the top spot, despite the number of belts held by Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The Young Bucks, who were ranked first last year, dropped to eighth.

This is the first time that the Pro Wrestling Illustrated tag team rankings have featured 100 teams rather than 50. Back in 2020, The Usos didn’t make the cut for that mark, in a year where FTR was ranked number one.

As usual, there has been conjecture on who should have been awarded these positions, and The Usos have taken to social media to respond to those teams who think they should have been ranked above them.

The Usos became Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions on the 20th May 2022 edition of SmackDown. Already holding the belts for the blue brand, they won a Winner Takes All match to capture the RAW belts from RK-Bro.
