The Rock Vs. Triple H May Happen In WWE, But There’s A Twist
Wrestling veteran says the current WWE creative direction might eventually lead to a Triple H vs. The Rock storyline.
WWE has reignited the Bloodline saga, and not a lot of people are happy with it.
Speaking on Vince Russo’s The Brand podcast, former CW Heavyweight Champion Bin Hamin stated that WWE has become too dependent on the Bloodline/Samoan storyline and keeps recycling the same formula. He believes WWE has already exhausted the Bloodline storyline and that there is nothing fresh left to do with it.
The Rock Could Return To WWE To Lead A War Against Triple H and the WWE Roster
However, WWE has also invested so heavily in the Bloodline that they may need an eventual storyline to pay it all off. Bin Hamin argued that WWE might come up with a Samoan Empire vs. WWE roster storyline, where The Rock could return to lead the Samoan Empire and Triple H would lead the WWE roster.
In this fantasy scenario, he suggests that WWE’s top babyfaces, like Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and LA Knight, would unite under Triple H’s leadership against the Samoan side. He predicted that WWE could build toward a large faction war match, which could culminate at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames.
Well, you bring them all in and over-saturate. And now we’ve jumped the shark on the Usos, and you know, Roman’s there part-time and they’ll bring in Rock for a band-aid on a broken leg when they need to, and they’re not getting Solo over. So, you have, if you built this empire, then what do you have to do? You have to have all these Samoans together versus the boys.
Well, the only way you’re going to do that is if Rock comes back and you have Triple H versus Rock, you know, the team of old WWE versus the Samoan Empire to dethrone them.
And that could be Cody. That could be Cody’s Quest. And you could get all those guys over, and they’ll do something like that going into War Games, like we’ve never seen that before, right? So, yeah, it’ll be wash, rinse, repeat under a new thing of the Roman Empire versus CM Punk, LA Knight, Cody Rhodes, and Soul Ruca. (From 4:38)
