The Rock Endorses UFC Champion For WWE Greatness
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson recently returned to media spotlight.
With his upcoming movie, The Smashing Machine’s release around the corner, the 53-year-old is busy aggressively promoting it everywhere he goes.
The WWE People’s Champion was recently made aware about UFC’s Tom Aspinall’s comments about him on Kiss Xtra.
Aspinall had spoken about someday stepping inside a wrestling ring. When asked about his dream opponent, he didn’t think twice before naming The Rock.
The Rock, taking on his in-ring wrestler persona, stated he will Rock Bottom his candy a**, but immediately jumped to praising the British MMA star.
I love Tom, I’ve got a lot of respect for him. I think he’d be a great WWE performer. He’s the kind of guy who’s just disciplined and committed, and he’s a fan.

In 2024, Aspinall had spoken about his wrestling aspirations while attending a WWE live show in his hometown of Manchester, England.
The Rock, meanwhile, is on the TKO board and could create a potential crossover opportunity, allowing the 32-year-old to leave an impact in WWE.
The Rock Discusses His Shocking Weight Loss
The Rock raised quite a few eyebrows after shedding a ton of weight during his time away from WWE.
In a video that went viral online, The Brahma Bull was seen attending an event with his The Smashing Machine co-star Emily Blunt, but looked unrecognizable.
His fans and a few peers expressed health concerns for him.
While he initially decided not to speak about it, he ultimately lifted the lid on why he lost so much weight.
I gained 30 pounds to play Mark Kerr and then came back down after that to my normal weight of around 250 or so. Now I’m in the process of slimming down, where I play a 70-something-year-old. So the slimming down is happening. And we have time to do it, which is really nice.
