The Rock Sheds Shocking Amount Of Weight During WWE Absence
The Rock has not been seen in WWE since Elimination Chamber, and he now looks very different from the figure he cut at that show.
At Elimination Chamber in February 2025, The Rock was on hand to light the fuse on John Cena’s shocking heel turn. The Final Boss opened the door for Cody Rhodes to align with him, but when Rhodes forcefully declined that offer, John Cena turned on Rhodes before Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott laid a vicious beating on The American Nightmare.
Many expected The Rock to be back on-screen when John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 41, but he was conspicuous by his absence. Instead, it was left to Travis Scott to help Cena win his record-breaking 17th world title, which was considered a lacklustre finish by many fans.
During his time away from WWE, The Rock has been focusing on his Hollywood career. And judging by new footage of the star, which has appeared online, he’s been slimming down dramatically.

The Rock Feuding With Triple H In WWE?
25 years ago, The Rock and Triple H were very publicly feuding with each other as two of the top WWE stars of the era. These days, both men are at the top of the wrestling business in different ways.
The Rock has a seat on the TKO board while Triple H runs day-to-day creative in WWE as the Chief Content Officer. Rumours of a rift between the pair have been rampant during The Rock’s absence, with The Great One believed to have originally imagined a heel turn for Cody Rhodes, only for Triple H to pitch his idea to finally turn Cena heel.
Ultimately, Cena’s heel turn was abandoned as WWE could not get the reactions they wanted with fans choosing to cheer John Cena regardless as time runs out on his career as a pro wrestler.
