The Miz Officiating Weddings For WrestleMania “WWEdding Experience”
The Miz is doing something special for couples in Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania 42 this year.
WWE is currently in partnership with ESPN for their PLEs. And they have now come out with a new idea for couples in Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania 42.
Couples will be able to tie the knot through ESPN and WWE’s ‘WWEdding’ experience. Five couples will be selected for it. It will be officiated by none other than WWE star The Miz.
PEOPLE.com recently put out a story about WWE’s The Miz officiating weddings in Las Vegas, Nevada, during WrestleMania 42 week.
Miz has now released a statement that reads as follows:
WrestleMania is known for delivering moments that last a lifetime, and for the first time ever, fans can make their love story part of the spectacle as we celebrate the first-ever WrestleMania as part of the ESPN family.
The Miz declares that this special historic idea has come because it’s WWE’s first WrestleMania on ESPN.
The experience includes photo opportunities with WWE title belts, superstar cutouts, and an official certificate for the wedding. The weddings will take place on April 16th between 3 PM and 5 PM PT.
Jo Fox, ESPN’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, also issued a statement:
At ESPN, we believe sports fandom is forever. For our first WrestleMania on the ESPN App, we wanted to give couples bound by their shared love of WWE and ready to say ‘I do’ a way to begin their next forever chapter by fully embracing everything they love together.
As per PEOPLE.com,
WWEdding availability is first come, first served to the first five couples to pre-register at the Tag Teams for Life page.
In order to participate, couples must obtain a physical marriage license from the State of Nevada ahead of the event, provide a valid government-issued photo ID and share any additional requested information upon registration.
The Miz And Danhausen Face Off In Hilarious Segment On SmackDown
The Miz is famous for his comedic skills and working with other comedy characters in WWE. He enjoys self-deprecation and has recently been on the receiving end of new WWE star Danhausen’s evil curse.
Danhausen cursed The Miz a few weeks ago on SmackDown for refusing to mentor him. This led to The Miz getting punched in the face accidentally in a segment with Jelly Roll later in the show.
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Kit Wilson and The Miz got a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championships held by R-Truth and Damian Priest. Truth set up the match in confusion, and during the bout, Danhausen made his way to the ring and asked Truth for a tag despite not being involved in the match.
A confused Truth tagged him as he confronted the Miz. However, when he tried to curse Miz again, the latter cleverly got the referee in the way.
The cursed referee then hilariously failed to complete the three-count due to a cramp in his right hand after Miz landed his Skull-Crushing Finale finishing move on Truth. Priest then took Miz out, and this time the referee counted with his left helping Priest and Truth retain the gold.
