The Bella Twins’ WWE Absence Finally Explained
The Bella Twins missed the WWE Raw episode featuring AJ Styles’ tribute.
In fact, they have not been on any show since February 2, when they threw their names into contention for the Women’s Tag Team Championship, currently held by Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky.
Nikki Bella had been a regular on WWE TV since returning to the company in June 2025. On the other hand, Brie Bella made her comeback during the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble match on January 31.
While promoting the latest episode of The Nikki & Brie Show, the twins explained their absence from programming, revealing that they had been dealing with health issues and burnout.
After a few wild weeks (hello food poisoning + burnout), it’s just Nikki & Brie on the mics getting real about recovery, listening to your body, and accepting that those 20-year-old bounce-back days are officially over. 😭😂

WWE Women’s Tag Champion Iyo Sky Loses Big On Raw
One-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, Iyo Sky, had been advertised over the last couple of live shows about competing in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match.
Her tag partner, Rhea Ripley, had already qualified with her win over Ivy Nile and Lyra Valkyria a couple of weeks ago.
Sky faced Raquel Rodriguez and her former Damage CTRL stablemate Kairi Sane on February 23.
The match played out in an excellent fashion, giving all three competitors their time in the spotlight.
Having been the only wrestler out of the three women to hold the Women’s World Championship, Iyo Sky looked like the favorite to win.
However, in the closing minutes, The Genius of the Sky went for an aerial maneuver, but was knocked off the turnbuckle by The Pirate Princes.
Rodriguez, in turn, neutralized Sane and hit her with the Tejana Bomb for the victory.
As a result, Rodriguez now joins, Rhea Ripley, Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, and Kiana James for the Women’s Elimination Chamber match on February 28.
