Swerve Strickland Cements His Heel Turn On AEW Dynamite

Former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland made a surprising decision last week when he faced Kenny Omega in the main event of last week’s episode. Both former World Champions are looking to win the championship back again.

Swerve, Omega, Hangman Page, and Andrade all vied for a shot at the title, but Omega and Strickland were left behind, while Page became MJF’s number one contender.

Following a mix-up, Omega and Swerve met each other last week, and the two put on a brutal match. The match ended with Swerve defeating Omega as he turned heel in the process. He put Omega through the announce table last week.

Swerve Strickland to go back for the AEW World Championship

Prince Nana came out with Swerve Strickland on AEW Dynamite tonight, and they both cemented their heel turn on the show. Nana ridiculed the commentators before Strickland delivered a message while standing on the announce table.

He put the entire AEW roster on notice following his attack and declared himself the most dangerous man in the promotion. Swerve even stated that his win against Omega has propelled him back into the World Championship picture once again.
