One AEW newcomer has made an immediate impact in the company as they get their shot at championship gold.

AEW Dynamite Maximum Carnage saw MJF successfully defend his AEW Men’s World Championship for the first time in his second reign as champion. The Salt of the Earth saw off the challenge of the Dynamite Diamond ring winner Bandido.

Don Callis Family Targets More AEW Gold

A huge four-way tag team match also took place, featuring a new star in the company. Former TNA star Jake Something shocked everyone when he made his debut on Dynamite, joining up with The Don Callis Family under the name Jake Doyle.

In his first AEW match, Doyle teamed with Mark Davis to face The Young Bucks, GOA, and JetSpeed with a future shot at the AEW Tag Team Championship on the line. When all was said and done, Davis and Doyle picked up the victory.

Current AEW Tag Team Champions FTR confronted The Don Callis Family duo after the match, and a brawl broke out before security broke it up.
