Stephanie Vaquer Appears In WWE Ring After Mysterious Raw Absence

Stephanie Vaquer made a surprise appearance on NXT, one night after she was mysteriously absent from WWE Raw.

At Evolution, Stephanie Vaquer earned a shot at the Women’s World Championship when she won a battle royal. But her path to that title has been anything but straightforward.

Vaquer was due to get her title shot at Clash in Paris, but Naomi had to vacate the championship as she announced her pregnancy. That meant that the match was off and the Chilean star would have to wait.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce decided that Stephanie Vaquer would clash with former champion IYO SKY for the title at Wrestepalooza. A contract signing between those two stars was due to take place on the September 8th edition of Raw, but that never happened.

Pearce told SKY on the show that Vaquer was absent, so the contract signing was cancelled for the time being. Stephanie Vaquer’s absence has led to some real confusion in the WWE locker room, although the company is said to be adamant that the title match will still happen on September 20th.

Now, Vaquer has reemerged as she made a surprise return to NXT.

Stephanie Vaquer Misses Raw But Appears On NXT

NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne was left infuriated by her Fatal Influence stablemates after they failed to win a shot at the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Jayne declared she was the greatest NXT Women’s Champion of all time, but she might have wished she’d kept quiet.

Stephanie Vaquer, Rhea Ripley, and Tiffany Stratton all then appeared, heading to the ring to take out Fatal Influence to close the show. The September 16th edition of NXT will be a Homecoming show from Full Sail University, and many former stars of the brand are scheduled to be part of that line-up.
