Solo Sikoa Stuns John Cena At WWE Crown Jewel

Solo Sikoa John Cena

Solo Sikoa could have brought the curtain down on John Cena’s WWE career in shocking fashion at Crown Jewel.

John Cena returned to WWE in early September and soon found himself embroiled in Bloodline business. Cena had been a previous victim during the historic WWE Universal Title reign of Roman Reigns but at Fastlane, he was able to team with LA Knight to defeat Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa.

That set the stage for Sikoa and Cena to meet one-on-one at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. The last time Cena won a one-on-one match on WWE television ironically came in Saudi Arabia in April 2018 when he defeated Triple H at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Solo Sikoa Spikes The Life Out Of John Cena

Cena and Sikoa went back and forth as the young star pushed the sixteen-time champion of the world to his limit. John Cena played the hits and even broke out a chokeslam as he looked to pick up a victory but Sikoa’s power proved too much and he nailed Cena with no less than 11 Samoan Spikes before pinning a lifeless Cena to pick up the win. Michael Cole noted on commentary that Solo Sikoa could be considered as “the man who retired John Cena.”

John Cena revealed SAG had given him permission for his WWE return and following the Crown Jewel demolition, many believe Cena will be heading back to Hollywood bringing what could be his last extended run in WWE to an end.
