Sol Ruca’s WWE NXT Fallout Takes Unexpected Turn After Fatal Influence Attack

WWE NXT has some of the best tag teams in the business currently, with the women’s tag team division also thriving on the brand. The current tag team division on the black and silver brand is thriving.

The night saw the recently signed Vanity Project become the number one contenders for the Tag Team Championships. However, tensions seemed to be boiling over for the NXT Tag Team of the Year.

Sol Ruca and Zaria won the award for being the tag team of the year in December 2025, but things haven’t been going well between the two women since this year started.

ZaRuca is not yet done on WWE NXT

Both Zaria and Ruca have ambitions of going after singles championships, and with Sol Ruca’s stock rising, Zaria has been feeling neglected by her tag team partner.

Ruca picked up the win for her team last week and became the number one contender for the NXT Women’s Championship. Zaria was furious about the same and seemingly broke their team up backstage.

Jacy Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence then made their way outside and called out Ruca as she is set to face Jayne. They made fun over her equation with Zaria following which Ruca made her way out to the ring.

Sol Ruca attacked the group after exchaning a few words with them but was outnumbered by the group. They ganged up on Ruca, but she had some backup as Zaria made her way to the ring and took everyone out, before hugging it out with Sol Ruca, indicating that ZaRuca is still standing strong.
