Shinsuke Nakamura To Appear On NXT More Often

Shinsuke Nakamura

It would seem that Shinsuke Nakamura’s return to the brand is set to be for multiple events rather than as a one-off surprise appearance.

The focus in WWE over recent weeks has been the amount of superstars returning under the regime of Triple H. From the ‘White Rabbit’ teases leading to Bray Wyatt’s comeback, to the likes of Braun Strowman, Johnny Gargano, Dakota Kai, Candice LeRae and The Good Brothers all being brought back as surprises after being released by the company, ‘The Game’ has been ringing the changes in a short period of time.

Whilst he now has an overview of the whole company, many will associate him with his first high-profile backstage role at the helm of NXT. Since taking charge the brand has now returned to its black and gold origins, and the talent shake-up has continued on the most recent edition with appearances from Shinsuke Nakamura and Austin Theory.

Mike Johnson at Pro Wrestling Insider has noted that Shinsuke Nakamura’s appearance on the 18th October 2022 edition of NXT isn’t set to be a one-shot deal.

Shinsuke Nakamura will be making additional appearances in WWE NXT, PWInsider.com is told.

Shinsuke Nakamura made his in-ring NXT debut at TakeOver: Dallas, where he defeated Sami Zayn who was competing in his final match before moving up to the main roster. He went on to hold the NXT Championship on two occasions, defeating Samoa Joe both times to win the title.
