Shinsuke Nakamura Added to WWE NXT’s U.K. Tour in June
Shinsuke Nakamura, former NXT Champion, has been added to NXT’s tour of the United Kingdom. This tour will take place from June 5 through June 11.
WWE’s official United Kingdom Twitter feed shared a video of Nakamura saying that he will be one of the Superstars present on the tour. You can watch that video below.

This news may come as a bit of a surprise to some people. Triple H announced on Twitter last Wednesday that NXT would be heading to the United Kingdom for a tour in June. However, in the tweet, Triple H shared a poster for NXT’s United Kingdom tour which did not feature Nakamura.

Since “The King of Strong Style” was not one of the featured Superstars as seen above, this poster started speculation about Nakamura’s status with NXT in June. It seemed likely to conclude that Nakamura would be leaving NXT and finally joining WWE’s main roster on either Raw or Smackdown after WrestleMania 33.
Despite Nakamura being added to NXT’s tour of the United Kingdom, I still think Nakamura will debut on WWE’s main roster soon after WrestleMania 33 on April 2. Just because he’s on the main roster, that doesn’t mean an exception can’t be made and he can’t do a few NXT live events.
Tickets for NXT’s U.K. tour went on sale this past Friday. Maybe ticket sales for their tour were not going as well as they expected, which could be why they added Nakamura.
