Seth Rollins Returns To WWE; Comeback Match Made

Seth Rollins WWE

Seth Rollins has not been seen in WWE since WrestleMania 40 but now he’s back, healed, and ready to get his championship back.

At WrestleMania 40, Seth Rollins teamed with Cody Rhodes in the main event of night one as that dream team lost to The Rock and Roman Reigns. The misery continued for Rollins on the next night as he lost his World Heavyweight Championship to Drew McIntyre but his night was far from done.

Seth Rollins appeared to help Rhodes defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship in a wild match that also saw The Usos, John Cena, The Rock, and The Undertaker all get involved.

Since then Rollins was believed to be recuperating from a knee injury and during that time, his wife, Becky Lynch’s contract with WWE has expired leading to plenty of speculation about her future. But on Raw in Corpus Christi, it was time to burn it down all over again.

Seth Rollins Gets World Heavyweight Title Shot

Seth Rollins returned on Raw and was quick to explain that the reason he was back was to win back his World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins was set to enter the Money In The Bank ladder match to earn that title shot but Damian Priest went one better.

The World Heavyweight Champion told Rollins he’d give him a shot at the title at the Money In The Bank event instead. Rollins thought this might be a trap involving The Judgment Day but Priest told Rollins the group didn’t know about his decision and the match was made.
