Seth Rollins Praises Recent WWE And AEW Matches

Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has taken a positive look at the last seven days in the wrestling world and picked out a number of standout matches – including one which took place in AEW.

The weekend of 3rd and 4th September 2022 gave wrestling fans a chance to gorge on the amount of shows on offer, with top-level events such as WWE Clash At The Castle, NXT Worlds Collide and AEW All Out all available to watch around the world, which were swiftly followed up by Monday Night Raw and NXT 2.0.

Seth Rollins himself received high praise for his match against Matt Riddle at Clash At The Castle, which was WWE’s first stadium event in the United Kingdom for three decades. However, he has looked at some of the other action which took place over the weekend and given it high praise.

In a post on social media, Seth Rollins also picked out the hard-hitting Intercontinental Championship match between Gunther and Sheamus from the same event as a personal favourite, whilst also including the show’s main event between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns. Also included in the list, in a surprise to some, is the match between Swerve In Our Glory and The Acclaimed at All Out.

The amount of top level in ring content that happens WEEKLY on TV is staggering. Gunther/Fella. Roxy/Meiko. Ricky/Melo. KO/Theory. Roman/Drew. Acclaimed/Swerve. It’s unreal. Appreciate that shit.

It has been a year of high-profile matches for Seth Rollins, who recently discussed when he found out he would be facing a returning Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38.
