WWE Backlash kicked off tonight in Tampa, Florida, with one of the most exciting matches on the card, which saw former Vision teammates, Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker, take on each other in an official match for the first time.

Breakker picked up the biggest win of his career on the night before the fans witnessed the first title match of the show. Newly-crowned United States Champion, Trick Williams, put his title on the line tonight.

He came out to the ring with Lil Yachty by his side as he faced Seth Rollins in a rematch from WrestleMania 42. The two men put on an entertaining match for the entire WWE Universe.

Both men showed incredible resilience to stay alive in the match as Williams dominated for much of it, with Sami getting on the offensive in multiple short bursts throughout.

Trick Williams picks up the win on WWE Backlash

Zayn began dominating the match after he hit Trick with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb from the top rope and followed it up with the Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count. He feigned an injury to his knee to trap Williams into a quick roll-up.

Yachty tried to distract the referee at the point, but his decision backfired as Sami used his Kendo Stick to attack Trick from behind the referee, but Williams kicked out of the pin attempt at the last second.

Sami looked to go for the Helluva Kick as the referee checked on Trick, but was stopped as Yachty hit him with the Kendo Stick to get even. The two men wrestled outside for a bit as Sami hit Williams with a DDT on the steel steps.

He then hit Lil Yachty with a Helluva Kick, but took too much time to get back into the ring. He went for a Helluva Kick on Trick, but he moved out of the way and hit Sami with the Trick Shot to get the win and retain his WWE US title.
