Ronda Rousey is set to make a return to MMA against Gina Carano on May 16, 2026. The fight will be held at Intuit Dome in Inglewood and will stream live globally on Netflix.

This fight will mark the MMA return for both women, with Rousey making her return to the octagon nearly a decade later and Carano nearly 17 years after her last fight. The event is hosted by Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), the organization co-founded by Jake Paul.

Ahead of her MMA return, Ronda Rousey made an appearance on the Kickoff Press Conference Live Stream hosted by Ariel Helwani, where she was asked if fans can expect to see her more inside the octagon.

Ronda replied that her MMA future depends on how her fight with Carano goes. She added that she wants to have more babies, but at the same time, she is also holding on to her MMA career.

“I guess it depends on how this one goes. I really want some more babies, and it’s getting to the point in my life where I can’t really be taking any more detours. I want to be present for my husband and my kids.”

“It gets to a point where it’s like, when are you going to be impressed enough with yourself to spend your time with your family?”

“Fortunately, I have been able to integrate home life with this camp, but I feel like this is trying to rewrite my ending with Gina. Maybe it’s like a Lord of the Rings ending that keeps going on and on, or maybe it’s a grand finale.”

Ronda Rousey Reveals Gina Carano Fight Could Be Her Final MMA Bout

Ronda Rousey then revealed that she had promised her husband that her fight with Carano was going to be her last fight. She also added that she had told Jake Paul that, although she cannot promise an active MMA career, she would still like to be involved in the business in some other role.

“So I promised my husband this is definitely the last one.”

“I told Jake Paul after he said he’d like more fights out of me. I told him I can’t be your Conor McGregor, but I can be your Dana White.”
