Roman Reigns Suddenly Pulled From Major WWE Shows

Roman Reigns committed to a full-time summer schedule at WrestleMania 42. Two weeks later, he has been quietly removed from major shows.

The OTC challenged CM Punk for his World Heavyweight Title following his win at Royal Rumble. He successfully claimed the title on Night Two of WrestleMania. He then announced on the post-show that the WWE Universe will see more of him all summer.

Roman Reigns lived up to his promise and appeared regularly on the flagship show, Monday Night RAW. He was also confronted by his cousin Jacob Fau on RAW after ‘Mania, and the two are scheduled to face off for the World Heavyweight Title at Backlash on May 9.

However, the champ has now been removed from WWE’s advertising across all four June episodes of RAW.

Roman Reigns pulled from all June shows

Roman Reigns had been listed on WWE.com for eight consecutive RAW dates – running from May 4 in Omaha through June 22 in London. He is no longer listed for any of the four June dates, leading to Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia on June 27.

The updated June promotional graphic for RAW does not feature the OTC either.

Three of the four removed dates are overseas – Turin on June 1, Paris on June 8, and London on June 22, with Baltimore on June 15 sandwiched between the European stops. Whether the overseas nature of those shows factors into the scheduling decision has not been confirmed.

WWE fans are buzzing after a massive shift in the advertised schedule, with no official explanation for the change. Fans will be watching closely as the May 4 episode of RAW kicks off to see what is next for the champion.
